I'd like to point everyone's attention to canonisrelative's page, as she has tonight posted what is her last story in the "Winter's Child" 'verse:

"What do you see, my blue-eyed son?"

“When Greg fell asleep with him the rocker, yes of course I do. God. Twenty-two years, Sherlock.”

To anyone wondering about the status of the 'verse, we have two more stories to go until the chronological end of the series. I can't even begin to express how wonderful it has been to write with Canon over the past year, not to mention how amazing it's been to go from exchanging the occasional email to becoming close friends with her.

And now that I've made myself all teary and sentimental, I leave you to read.

You are the sweetest of all sweet things!!! I'm so glad I commented on your fic a year ago! And the fact that I'm once again dogsitting and staying in the same house where I stayed up all night reading fic just as I was getting into the fandom, eating breakfast at the same table where I was sitting when we first started talking, is now making me all misty-eyed and sentimental. awwwwww :)

I've just read this and had to say - what a wonderful start to a story! You've set up this Universe so very well and the characters just really work in it. I'm so looking forward to future parts as I'm certain they'll be every bit as good as we've come to expect from you.
