Sherlock's "I prefer to text" reminded me of Bartleby the Scrivener, lol.
I'm with Lestrade on texting, doesn't seem worth the hassle, but it is one way that Sherlock shows intimacy. I've seen worse teachers than S. Like the guy that I bought my phone off of. ;)
The incremental way that you used texts to build tension was brilliant and agonizing. Lestrade holding his hand while I swoon.
I was thinking that texting would also be good in a shootout where they had to be quiet although I could always hear the little clacky noises when one of my students was texting during lecture.
This was a wonderful homecoming pressie after a nightmare drive home last night. Thank you!
